"We have signed a swap deal of national currencies with 20 countries and Iran has a national currency swap agreement with Turkey and Pakistan which is underway", Samad Karimi,Head of Iran's central Bank's Exports Office, said.
"The issue of monetary pacts have been started since 1392 and we have sent the patterns of monetary pacts to those countries having economic exchange with us, but we haven't received any answer yet", the official stated.
Karimi made the remarks that for having monetary pacts, the opposite side should not be under sanctions to open foreign currency account in banks of two sides.
Karimi touched upon that Iran's Central Bank has various policies for monetary pacts and doesn't move based on a single policy.
